Five MIXI Sessions Accepted for CEDEC 2026, One of Japan’s Largest Game Developer Conferences
Presenting the Latest Development Insights on Long-Term Live Operations, AI, and Data Utilization from MONSTER STRIKE
Tokyo, Japan, July 14, 2026 — MIXI, Inc. announced that five sessions proposed by its engineers and a former intern have been accepted for the Computer Entertainment Developers Conference 2026 (CEDEC 2026), which will be held at Pacifico Yokohama North from July 22 through July 24, 2026.

CEDEC is one of Japan’s largest conferences for computer entertainment developers to share game-related technologies and knowledge. The annual three-day event covers a wide range of fields including engineering, production, visual arts, business & producing, sound, game design, and academic research, and features around 200 sessions, serving as a key venue for technical exchange and helping advance game development across the industry. The five accepted proposals from MIXI, all selected through a public call for submissions, consist of one regular session, one short session, and three CEDEC Lightning talks.
Through these five sessions, MIXI will share practical knowledge gained from developing MONSTER STRIKE, now in its 13th year of live operation with more than 65 million users worldwide. Topics will include server-side technology, engineering organization management, data utilization, and quality improvement.
The sessions will also showcase the latest examples of applying AI not only to development support, but also to real development workflows, including quality assurance, data utilization, and development process improvement. They will also include newly disclosed findings, including insights gained through validation and the results of applying these technologies to production titles.
Rather than focusing solely on research and proof-of-concept (PoC), MIXI will share the results of technologies that have been deployed and continuously improved in live development. By doing so, the company aims to share the unique knowledge gained from operating a long-running title with the broader game development community.
